Job Specification
Leading a team in the efficient operation of the rendering process, ensuring that all products meet production, quality, safety, and environmental standards. This role involves overseeing the rendering operations, managing the team to achieve production goals, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The Team Leader will focus on optimizing production efficiency, minimizing waste, and maintaining product quality throughout the rendering process. Additionally, the role involves monitoring safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment and adherence to environmental regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication, both verbal and written, is essential for coordinating with the team and ensuring all production targets are met while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
•Diploma in Food Technology or related discipline
Must have at least 2 years experience in similar position.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position within a meat processing /production environment,
– Experience in finalizing and implementing the daily Production plan with Production Management team regarding production and maintenance activities. “
